Just wanted to take a quick moment to say a big thank you for the lovely stay and play morning on Tuesday. It was such a nice, relaxed morning, and I think the adults enjoyed it just as much as the children. I think I speak on behalf of all the parents when I say just how much we love and appreciate all the effort you ladies go to, to make sure our children feel like part of the Alma family; it is such a treat to see them being so comfortable at kindy, knowing their routines, and just really enjoying learning through play. We really cannot sing your praises loud enough – we are so lucky to have landed in such a beautiful place and a very special class.

I have only positive feedback to leave. Miss M absolutely loves and thrives on her kindy days and has a great love for all her teachers. To know I’m leaving her in a safe and happy environment where she can play and learn makes it a lot easier to drop her off.

I just wanted to say a very big thank you for all the love and support you give our kids. In my opinion, during this crazy time (Covid) there actually is no safe place for Miss I to be then at Alma Street with you guys. But I know for some families they struggle with the uncertainty of what’s going on. What you are offering these kids who are stuck at home is just amazing. So much gratitude for all your hard work. There really is no better place to be apart of then the Alma Street community. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Just wanted to let you know, I think roasting marshmallows is a BRILLIANT idea!

I really believe in allowing young people to take risks in a controlled environment to enable them the chance to make good decisions. It’s so important to me that Miss P can have a go at things that have some risk involved so she can start to understand safe ways to enjoy outdoor games and activities. I think too that when we talk about consequences for our actions, it isn’t always in a disciplinary space; for example: ‘If we swing the stick around, someone could get burnt’.

So, great. You are incredible educators 😊
